PROJECT 1: B.E. EXPANSION: 4 HUBERTA

Expanding our boarding facilities to grow more boys into mighty Griffins. Our goal in 2023 is to expand our facilities at 4 Huberta Road to double capacity and provide a home-away-from-home for 60 students.

The boarding ethos at WBHS is imbued with traditional values that have seen the school flourish for over 65 years – respect, discipline, humility and character. At the heart of the boarding experience is an incredible sense of belonging; a sense of inclusion which encourages fully rounded and confident individuals to emerge from the safety of a shared identity. It is the development of close, life-long friendships that is one of the most extraordinary aspects of boarding life.

To expand our capacity, to include an additional 30 beds, storage area, sanitorium and living areas, our fund-raising goal is R10.3mil, with the timeline to complete the build by year-end (December 2023).
